Coming this Fall...

After 2 yrs of challenges, both physical and mental, a lot of tears, questions and tons of praying, the good Lord has blessed us with the opportunity to become parents again. Yep, that's right! This Fall we will go from a family of 3 to a family of 4! I didn't realize how much I wanted to become a mother again until I saw those two pink lines:-) We are overwhelmed with joy and thankful for all our family and friends who have prayed and will continue to pray for us during this process. We can't wait to meet our little gift from God.

Ella can't wait to become a BIG sister and for Luke to become a BIG puppy brother!

Happy 2011

Happy new year! 4 days in and I'm wondering if I should have eaten my black-eyed peas, cabbage and ham for good luck! Don't get me wrong, I live a full life with lots of love surrounding me! It's just the past couple of months have been very trying! I've had to quit a job, change multiple dr's & still feel as if I'm at square one! I still hope and pray for a cure for my chronic back pain that causes me to miss out on many special events in my life. It's caused me to reevaluate my relationships both family & friend. It's a struggle knowing I need help and either I'm too proud to ask for it or those I so reach out to are too busy to give it! This makes me so thankful to have the wonderful and understanding family who provides support and encouragement even when I really don't want to hear it:-) My resolution this year is to make the best of my circumstances & prosper, even when I don't feel I have the strength and to look to the Lord when I'm lost! Now, hopefully Ella will cooperate:-)

Wow, I'm behind!

Let's see...this year has started off great! Not much happened in January. We spent time with the Schuette family in February at the San Antonio rodeo. Blane and Dustin participated in the Muttin Bustin' competition. Ella turned 2 on March 9th. We celebrated with a backyard party. She had a blast! She is already measuring 36 inches tall - must get that from her daddy;-) We took her to the doctor for a sonogram to check up on her kidneys and received a clean report. Both of her kidneys have grown to normal size and are healthy. Yay!

Randy and I decided to put our house on the market. We hope to get is ready to sell within the next month. Not much else is new with us, except work; which is great that we have survived the economy so far (we're keeping our fingers crossed).

That's it for now, N
