Our Busy Weekend
Randy, Ella, Luke and I drove down to Shiner Friday evening and spent the night with my Mom. It's so nice when we go visit Mom. She loves for Ella to sleep in the bed with her, so Randy and I always get to sleep in on Saturday morning. Well, 7:00 sleep in, if that counts! My brothers and their families came over for an early dinner on Saturday. My neice, Lauren has an interesting creative side. After hollowing out a watermelon, she decided to make a helmet! Sunday morning, Ella decided to finally roll over. She rolled from her tummy to her back. It scared her at first, but once she saw how excited Randy and I were, she started to kick her legs with excitement. Sunday night we had dinner with Randy's family and got to meet BJ's fiance, Bailey. Some of Ella's favorites were there. Her uncle's Jeff and Joseph and Auntie Smell...I mean Bella. It was so nice to finally crawl in to bed that night...

Teething
Ella has started teething and let me tell you, it has not been a lot of fun! She has not been herself the past couple of days. The school called me at 4:00 yesterday to let us know that she was running a 100.5 fever and that we needed to pick her up. After giving her Tylenol, her fever reduced to 99.1 and remained there for the rest of the evening. This morning, however, she was running a fever of 100.2. Randy stayed home with her for the morning and by 11:00 her fever was down in the 99's. We decided to keep her home for the rest of the day and let her rest, so I came home and stayed with her for the afternoon. Her temperature has been steady at 98.5 all afternoon although she still feels warm and is extremely restless. She has not had any teeth come through, but you can definitely feel them. And, I hear you go through this EVERY time they get a new tooth. Oh Joy!

Blogging!
I am new to blogging. My cousin, Angie has one of these sites and I always thought it was interesting. After having my daughter, I decided that it would be a good time to have a website that my family and friends can visit frequently to see what new in our lives as well as see how our family is growing. I hope all that visit our site, enjoys our stories and pictures.
