We have been together for 10 yrs and have been married for almost 6 of those wonderful years. We have a 9 year old Golden Retriever, Luke and a almost 4 yr old daughter, Ella. This blog was created so all of our family and friends can see what we are up to and to watch our family grow!

About Us

Nona:: Austin, TX, United States; Randy and I met on August 17, 2001 in LaGrange. We were both attendants in Kreg and Angie's wedding and were paired together because we were the only two single people in the wedding. Also, because Angie wanted to set us up! We had been dating for a little over 3 years when I got home from work one evening and had a big surprise. Randy called for me from the bedroom. "Nona, come see what your son has done". My son being our 3 year old Golden Retriever, Luke. As I pushed open the door, I see Randy standing there, dressed in his suit with Luke by his side. Luke has a red ribbon with a box tied around his neck. Randy tells Luke to go show mommy what he has for me. Randy dropped to one knee and asked me to be his bride. I said yes and we were married in a beautiful ceremony at the Thurman's Mansion at the Saltlick on May 13th, 2005. (We were married on May 14th, 2005. I am not sure why I put the 13th) Life was great as newly-weds. We wanted to start a family right away and on July 6th, 2006, our prayers had been answered. We were going to have a baby! Our daughter, Ella was born on March 9th, 2007. Life has never been so sweet...
